What is the only MARINE RANK INSIGNIA that can be sewn onto the SERVICE UNIFORM that exists but has never been issued nor worn?

This one stumped the Marines here including myself. Lets see if a Poolee or wannabe can come up with a correct answer.

I've seen this question on here before, I think a poolee answered it correctly. I'll keep my trap shut and watch the guesses =)

This question has been killing me since you asked me it Sunday night! I cannot seem to find anything on it.

Female SGT. Major of the Marine Corps.

Each rank has a female counterpart (Which is only 75% the size of the male). Since there has never been a Female SGT. Major of the Marine Corps it has never been issued.

Dangit Hoplite, I just searched for the past 40 minutes and finally found it just to see it's already been answered. Good job.

Too bad, the hildabeast would have to change on the selection rules. Sergeants Majors of the Marine Corps are not selected or approved by Congress if I remember correctly.

Wasn't Obama just endorsed by Bill Clinton? I hope that works out well.

Thanks Tim.

BTW, Tim is 17 and used the search function.

It proves once again that it works.

Alright Poolees, I got a question for you. How many loops are on the Dress Charlie trousers and what do they represent?
