You have read about it in the TWS newsletter and talked about it in the forums and at last the details are finalized and the event is upon us. The first officially sponsored TWS gathering is Island Storm 2008 and will be held in
<CITY w:st="on">Beaufort, <STATE w:st="on">South Carolina on April 10<SUP>th</SUP> through 12<SUP>th </SUP>with events aboard MCRD Parris Island. Jack Lucas, Congressional Medal of Honor Iwo Jima, will be our guest of honor and our speaker at the Saturday morning breakfast. Due to base restrictions this gathering is limited to three hundred people, so space is limited. It is open to Marines and families, but the spaces are being filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.</STATE></CITY></PLACE>

Thursday, April 10<SUP>th</SUP>
1400 – 2100 Registration Reception
Join us at the Holiday Inn and Suites to pickup your registration packet and
enjoy sandwiches and snacks after your drive.
1300-1500 Book Signing
Join us at the Marine Corps Exchange for an early opportunity to meet Jack Lucas and have your book personalized by this Medal of Honor winner.
Friday, April 11<SUP>th</SUP>
0630 Bus Boarding
Either be picked up at one of our event hotels, or meet the buses at the Holiday Inn and Suites for transportation to MCRD
