-Hi, I am looking for anyone who was in Platoon 2079 MCRD San Diego. Basic started Jul 17, 1985 and I believe ended Nov 4, 1985. I still remember some names of my then fellow recruits. Our DI's were: Senior DI SSgt Esteep, Sgt Beeson, Sgt Jones, Sgt Covert.
