Marines Train Dogs

Incarcerated marines will help make life easier for wounded warriors.
Marines in the Camp Lejeune Brig have started training four service dogs, who will go to the homes of handicapped marines injured in Iraq or Afghanistan.
When the dogs finish two years of training, they can pick things up off the floor, help with the laundry, and even pull a wheelchair.
The dogs stay with the marine trainers all the time in the brig.
Marines must pass a psychological evaluation before becoming a trainer.
