"Letters Home" Marine Returns Home to Talk to Students

Lance Corporal Joshua Lawson spoke to kids at Salem Elementary School on Monday.
SALEM -- Lance Corporal Joshua Lawson gave WBOY viewers and website readers an inside look at life for Marines in Iraq during his tours of duty there in his "Letters Home".
Lawson has been stateside for a few weeks now and Monday he stopped by to talk to students at Salem Elementary School.
Lawson talked about his experiences in Iraq and showed the kids his military fatigues and bullet proof vest.
He also brought Subway wrappers and Snapple bottles printed in Arabic.
Lawson also gave the students a gas mask demonstration.
He says he will head back to his base in North Carolina on Wednesday.
