I am trying to find anyone who served with 1st Bn 5th Mar in RVN in August of 1968. My cousin, LCpl Marshall "Wayne" Phillips was KIA near An Hoa 29 Aug. I have heard different stories about his death but none have been verified. His headstone says he was was with D 1/5. If anyone has information or knows how I can get information, please let me know.
