Something tells me it was hotter then hell... or was it really a decent temperature? cause I'm actually trying to change my shipdate to may 19th... 3 days after high school graduation.

It is very hot, but that didn't bother me. Even with our uniforms on and all our gear, it didn't get to me. I mean, I felt hot, but it wasn' unbearable. The squadbays and nice and cool though. I'd rather be really hot than freezing cold any day.
you get used to it i left may 30th. You will probally get alot of black flags which just means the DI's get bored...

The date on my DEP contract says May 12th, but I'm trying to work with my recruiter to see if that can be changed to the 24th.
Either way, we'll be in the same neck of the woods.
I'm scheduled to leave May 5th for MCRD SD but I might leave a week or two later, depending on how early I graduate.
