You might wanna check the Amazon.com website, they always good and informative choices. I've been looking at ones about the ASVAB, Boot Camp, and how to get in shape for Boot camp. They even have a review section so you can know if the book is as good as it looks. I think the Borders website is the same format as Amazon, so You might wanna check into those. Also, when typing Question or Answer always use good sentence structure and use correct Capitalization. More important than others make sure Marines or Corps or anything that has do with the Marines are always capitalized. I'm not trying to get on your **** but The Admins and Marines don't like when you don't follow the sites rules. Good Luck on your Book Hunt SCrawford!

Here is a good list of Marine Corps books that I have read and really enjoyed.

Generation Kill
I highly reconmend this one. They are even doing a Mini serious on HBO to it.

No True Glory
About the Marines in Fullujah

House to House
About the Marines in Fullujah.

Ambush Alley
This one was written by Evan Write same guy who wrote Generation Kill. Another good one.

If you want to get in shape for Bootcamp. A good program is by Stew Smith.
Look up "Stew Smith" in google. You should get his site. He is a former Navy Seal. He has Recon, Seal, Ranger, Police Academy workouts. Something for everybody. They are entended to get people in shape who are going to SEALs, RECON etc. after boot camp. So those will get you in good shape.

Hey thanks for all the help. I'll be looking into the Generation Kill and No True Glory. My cousin fought in that battle and has never really told me his story.

In addition to those listed I am enjoying Why Marines Fight by James Brady.

Others that I intend to read are:
Flags of our Fathers
Blood Stripes
First to Fight
Fields of Fire

I'll third http://www.leatherneck.com/forums/images/icons/icon14.gifNo ture Gloryhttp://www.leatherneck.com/forums/images/icons/icon14.gif a great book about the battle and how politics affect war. It also keeps you locked in which is good for me since I usually lose intrest in books or find other things to do.

I've received some really good advice on there. My suggestion as some pointed out on there would be MARINE! about Chesty Puller. I am only halfway through it, but it's been an amazing read.
