Sept. 17th, to Sept. 20th, 1969....Lima, 3rdBn.,3rdReg.,3rdDiv........Several of my best friends, and 'buds', were KIA, or WIA. I just got my 100%, from the VA, only took 39 years!! God Bless EVERY dam MARINE!!! Two, carried my SQUID butt out of that mess....and I'll see some of those GENTLEMEN, in Orlando....at the reunion of 3/3.....we're ALL fat, half blind, can't hear worth a ****, and would STILL pack our crap, and go the Sandbox, to do WHATEVER is neccessary!!!....ALWAYS FAITHFUL......DocGreek

Thank-you...Gentlemen! War stories aside, as far as I'm concerned, there's NO finer than The Marine Corps!! There are quite a few Corps veterans, that would, without hesitation, re-up, to kick some insurgent butts, AND, I'm one of them!! We may be old farts, but we'd give our lives, STILL, to help, and protect our Brothers! ALWAYS Faithful......DocGreek

Doc Greek, it's Corpsman like your self that has gone and served before us that gives each new Corpsman the drive and motovation to do things like the Doc in the story above, at school we heard the sea stories of the Chiefs and their Chiefs before them, man that brings back memories. You are right, USMC there is none in the world finer.
Corpsman, Gods gift to the Corps.

That actually sent shivers up my spine. Thank you to all Corpsman for everything you do. That comment about all the former Corpsman's hands on his shoulder was about the most moto thing i've heard in a while.
Semper Fi Gentlemen & Thank You
