So I was supposed to ship two weeks ago, I ended up being 1 pound over weight(Breakfast I guess) and they wouldn't give me a waiver.
Then I was going to ship last wednesday(after dropping about 5lbs in a week), however me and one other guy were consider "on call", they had 5 spots for shippers and 7 guys there. So I get to wait until the 11th or 18th until I can ship.
Has anyone else had this problem before?

Yep, I had a weight waiver while active duty on my last 3 years of my 2nd pump in the Corps. I was lifting hard and heavy and just bulked up too much. i was weighing 245 pounds with 11% body fat. I never had below a 275 PFT score!! But I would always come in a pound or two heavy come weigh in time!! What I did was I'd go weigh in, normal right...and when found too heavy, I'd bring with me some prune juice and drink about 2 or 3 cups worth...wait 10 or 15 minutes...go drop about 5 pounds and go weigh in!! Always worked for me!! Try something like that with your weigh in...if you know your next schedulled weigh in, you can actually sweat about 4 to 5 pounds in sweat off. Just remember to permanently drop the weight afterwards!! Good luck!

That's funny because I had the exact same issue. I just lifted pretty heavy and so I knew to drop a load either by sweat or hitting the head prior to an official weigh in but every time I would get a new butter bar he would be eyeballing me and then sure enough he would want me to go weigh in because I looked too heavy. I had to go to the base hospital to get my body fat checked and yeah same deal it was around 11% so I just always knew, new butter bar, get ready for a trip to the base hospital. LOL.
However, I think the poolee was asking if anyone has every experienced boot camp being full and I have to say that I have never heard of that but I guess if the RTB's are full and the working parties are full then you just can't go.

Wrap plastic trash bags around your body and tape them with duct tape. Run until you have lost the weight. Make sure the bags have been emptied.

Hah, my weight's fine now, I'm about 5lbs under the max, I'm going to shoot to loose another 10-15lbs before I leave though. If I can help it, I don't want to be a fat body.
I was actually wondering if anyone had heard that MCRD was full and that you would have to wait a few weeks. What I was told was that there was a huge push this month and the next to get shippers however MCRD SD gave us the finger and said they can't carry any more people. We're over 20 something shippers or so.
