Heh, after:
2 trips to Fort Lee's MEPS,
7 hours for one day in the same seat,
And no doubt much headache for Gunny Rowe the USMC MEPS Liason(Amazing btw)
I've finally gotton my ship date and signed my contracts!
I'm so f---ing excited about it too!
USMC Reservist, Combat Engineer outta Roanoke, VA!
Better yet, I'm the first and so far only person from my graduating class which is kind of good/kind of bad...still "the few and the proud".
Umm if anyone has worked with Bravo Company of the 4th/4th feel free to speak up. I was supposed to meet with my recruiter for an IST and then the First Sergeant for an interview or something but had to rearrange because of a family death, and ended up just taking the IST a few days later, the interview is still 'unscheduled' but I don't doubt it'll happen...but man is it curiousity at its finest lol.
Oh and one last thing, sorry I guess this is kind of long but my IST scores were,
Chin-ups : 11
Crunches: 58 (First time performing crunches with that kind of form)
1/2 Mile Run: 10:48 (Somehow I got a 6 minite mile and then picked up 4 minites in a half a mile lol. Hey, I DID see snowflakes on my way out to the recruiters office...and this was at like, NOON lol.)
Anyways I'm rambling sorry, so yea other poollee's if you have a shipdate near 20080707 shout it loud shout it proud!
