Are we supposed to fly in our service alphas or no?

There are posts somewhere on this site about this and I believe the Marines were told not to wear a uniform. Fly in civvies and change either at the airport prior to the taxi ride or ride in civvies...

Phantom Blooper is correct there have been several posts about this. Most of our pups have flown in civvies and then changed into alphas at the airport. Do not ever attempt to check into a new unit in any other uniform other than Alpha's or a NCO just may clean your clock. Here's the ITB SOI/MCT website there may be something more specific.
