pre 1957 Pay-Grade ranks

I'm looking for a chart or list of the pre 1957 Paygrade Ranks of the Corps , I've looked on the Internet and have not had much luck in finding anything on this subject- I have a 2001 Marine Corps Rank Chart but its a after 1957 Grade ranks-- any suggestions on finding the old Ranks ??

No not really-- I think I'm talking like Korea time when I was in the Corps- I remember Pvt, {Pfc 1 stripe} , {Cpl 2 stripes}, {Staff Sgt 3 up-1dn }Teck-3up 2dn and Master Sgt 3up and 3dn-- never paid much attension to anything past these

What else could you be looking for? It's all here except the E-? and I am sure you can figure that one out!

I was a Cpl (E3) in 57 my pay was 120.00 a month that equates to $4.00 a day but I got a raise every Febuary my pay went from $4.00 a day to $4.20 a day except in leap year then it went to $4.13 Damn what a jump in pay I could buy an extra pack of smokes ,

Hell , when I got out I don't even remember what I recieved in pay? i know it wasn't much tho
