<TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width="100%" border=0><TBODY><TR><TD>Michael Scott Mayo, Sr. of Centreville, MD died at Chester River Hospital, Chestertown on Wednesday, January 2, 2008 surrounded by his loving family. He was 44.

Born on December 21, 1963 in Baltimore, MD, the son of Bonnie and Jack Hiss of Queenstown and the late, Michael Rand Mayo. He graduated from G.B.H.S. in 1981. He served in the U.S. Marines from 1982 to 1986. He worked for NV Homes for 20 years as a project manager and was #1 in his company.

He loved outdoor hunting, fishing, boating and most especially his children.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Mayo is survived by his wife, Victoria Lynn Mayo; a son, Michael S. Mayo, Jr. of Laurel, MD; two daughters, Samantha Mayo and Jami Mayo, both of Bel Air, MD; a step-father, Gene Wetzel; two sisters, Cheri Gerardi and her husband, Thad of Chester, MD and Michele Cluster of Pasadena, MD; a brother, Jason Mayo and his wife, Heather of Pasadena, MD and his maternal grandparents, Audrey and Maurice Eckert of Glen Burnie, MD.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2008 at his home in Centreville, MD at 3:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a Trust Fund for the children, contact NV Homes at 301-258-0002.

Arrangements are by the Fellows, Helfenbein and Newnam Funeral Home, P. A., Centreville, MD.
