Active to reserves while in DEP

Hello all,

Straight to the point, my question is this...if someone is enlisted in the DEP as active duty is that person able to switch to reserve duty, say to finish college, prior to leaving for bootcamp while being in DEP already?

You can change your contract any time up until you ship and sign the official contract.

1. How do I change my profile to poolie?
2. When I spoke to my recruiter about this subject he told me to find someone else to fill my active spot and then he could change me to reserves, is he just saying this because he doesnt want to lose points or whatever or is that how it works?

Just tell him bull**** change me or i won't go, you can back out without anything happening before you ship
