It was in the newspaper today that the town of Wilber, Nebraska, population 1761, (about 30 miles south of here) has decided to discontinue maintaining its airport because nobody could remember an airplane landing there since the 1970's.

Several years ago, I had an appointment with the doctor in Utica, Nebraska. Actually, he's been a water skiing and deer hunting buddy of mine for over 30 years. The nurse told me the doctor was running a few minutes late because he had to go home and let his dogs out.

Sometimes it gets so hectic around here you can hardly stand it.

Have a Cool Yule and a Frantic First.

Can't remember what I went to see him for, but as I recall he gave me some deer jerky he'd made before I left. Actually, he probably shot the deer on my property.

Too funny Gary!!! Why? Because I worked as an aerospace inspector and would never miss a single detail, but you got me on that one! The next time you fly, think about it!---LOL. :scared:

Don't feel bad, GSO. I drew the dammm plane and had to have looked at it at least 5 to 10 times before I submitted it. I'll be sure to check out the next plane I board. LOL

Well, probably just the mail carrier. What about it, crate? You know your mail carrier very well?
