What is the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program like for those who have gone through it. What kind of stuff do you learn, I've heard you learn moves from many different types of martial arts. Not to mention the art of fighting with a bayonet, although with all of the technology we have today, using a bayonet would seem kind of archaic. But I'd suppose that there are lots of up close, hand-to-hand combat with the enemy even in today's modern battlefield. Fill me in on some stuff you do in MCMAP.

Ok, kid...I'll fill you in on some of the stuff...body hardening...go whack your shins on a tree for a few minutes...then have some dude punch you in the gut for a few....etc...

Tan belt MCMAP is like attending a friday night karate class that you went to as a ten year old kid. You learn how to punch, kick, stomp, choke, and evade. You also learn some bayonet techniques. It's the extreme basics and you will think it's a joke.

Just remember, once you hit the fleet, you will go up in belts. Then it gets much more serious.
