Okay, saddle up and get it done! Never Quit

11-29-07, 10:29 AM
Man Raymon, yer ship date changes just about as often as I change underwear. LOL jk. Good chit though buddy. Go kick some arse, I'll only be 2 weeks behind ya. Just never quit and dont leave there unless by way of the front gate as a US Marine!!!:flag:

11-29-07, 10:52 AM

I don't know about the 10 lbs in one day unless you can cr-a-p like a camel with a bad stomach virus, but I wish you well. Don't get discouraged, just roll with it and you'll get 'er dun. Their job is to make you feel like you want to quit. Keep your end goal in focus, and you will reach it.

I'd be glad to send some mail to ya....I wouldn't mess with ya (; don't worry...just let me know your mailing info and I'll get ya an X-mas card or something. Same to you jdncowboy!!

Good luck Bro!!!!

Just got back from the GYM 5lbs lighter:thumbup:.

Wasn't hard, just spent 35 minute sessions in a sauna and an hour off doing work-outs in the gym. Going to loose the rest within the next two days.

Now for a little appreciation.

First and foremost. Without coming on Leatherneck, I don't know what I would be doing right about now. I thought I knew everything, and when I didn't I was busted hard. I took it in stride and rode with it. I'm amazed at what people can accomplish with the help of others. We all know back in the ole' days. You didn't have the resource we have today, to gain information, and to get motivation. I'm damn lucky I was reffered to this site, and I'm damn determined to get my Eagle Globe, and Anchor.

I'm anxiously waiting to graduation, but I must pass the test like all others. I look forward to this challenge, as I've been informed and prepared to the best of my ability for Recruit Training. To call everyone Marine here my brother or sister is what I'm looking forward to.

Now the Marines who've really had the big influence, need not to be named, they show no favoritism to me or any other poolee. You guys are damn awesome, great mentors, and great motivators. I'm damn proud that I've met each and everyone of you. This might be the internet, but I'm closer to yah'll than most of my family and thats says much as to how much you have reached out to most of us.

Honor, Courage, Commitment.

11-29-07, 08:43 PM
Go get 'em Raymon!

11-29-07, 09:41 PM
Man, Raymon it's going to be weird without you around here! But it's all good 'cause you'll be kicking a$$ getting that EGA. Good luck! :)

11-29-07, 09:48 PM
We are going to miss you man. You're one of the poolees that really make a difference around here. I'm going to be gone this weekend- so I want to make sure I say good bye and good luck. You'll be one of us soon enough.

11-29-07, 10:27 PM
Good luck man and have fun. If you don't have a few insurance pounds, don't eat anyhting before that weigh in. A shipper that was there when I was physing was sent back with me to our RSS for being 1 pound over. Sucks cause the MEPS food is pretty damn good.

Again, good luck and have fun,

Best of luck to you. You have the determination, the motivation and possibly most important of all, the right attitude. You will go far and we are awaiting your speedy return!

11-30-07, 09:10 PM
The EGA, Turning nite into day. You cannot ever be the same. You may forever be hated, but the pride overwhelms all your life. You made a difference the world might not see, but you WILL live that pride the rest of your days. That pride you will choke on when any brother dies, and you were not there. The Pride your grandkids wonder of, but know it meant a deal to you. When you boil down all our lives, It comes out Marine. WE DON'T JUST SHOOT,,, WE INFLUENCE GENERATIONS.

Please understand that DavBlay will receive a letter every week. I will write to each and everyone of you when I FIND the time. LCpl. 84 I won't forget you. I'll make sure you get more than a few. I need some special motivation that only you can give.

I'm so stoked I can't fall asleep. I've pet my mom and kissed my dog good-bye. I'm leaving the house around 0500 for my last ruck-march. I should be leaving MEPS for Parris Island on Tuesday.

Remember My Pup, Failure is not an option! :marine:

12-02-07, 09:38 PM
I absolutely wish you the very best of luck, although I don't think you will need much of it at all, because I know how much hard work you have put in already and how much motivation you have running through your veins to make it off that island with YOUR Eagle, Globe, and Anchour! I do not know you well and I have only been on this forum for a month and a half, but I know you are one of the most motivated poolees here. I know you will make it through, and now is the time to make it happen. I'll be cheering you on, man! :-)

Hey Ray, know you're probably gone by now, glad we were able to communicate on myspace as I have not been posting here very much of late....stay strong Devil pup.

12-05-07, 02:01 PM
Hey Raymon, You're only a week away...I wish i was in your shoes man, I'm so pumped and motivated. I haven't been on here much lately because of work but ever since I first came on Leatherneck I have been amazed at all the support and motivation given on this site by not just other poolees and wannabes but by Marines themselves. Being a fat body myself, I especially am motivated by you and Accord for losing all that weight to be able to follow your dreams. I know you will graduate 3 months from now a United States Marine. I am confident that in time I will also be able to earn the title and priviledge to call you and all the other Marines my family. My mom and 2 brothers are going on vacation the same day you ship out for 3 weeks so im going to be home alone with my dad working all day. If you want stay in touch with me while your at bootcamp just send me your info.

God Bless,
-Eddie aka "4x4"
