In an effort to capture the attention of the extreme target market, MCRC is
supporting four Marine athletes that will be competing in the Eco Challenge,
a 400-mile trek across Alaska. The Team Marine athletes are Maj. Paul
Montanus, Capt. Owen West, Capt. Sarah Fullwood and SSgt. Terry Butts.
Fullwood and Butts are both former Marine Athletes of the year. During the
challenge, participants will have to hike, climb, paddle and bike across
some of the state's most rugged terrain. The event is scheduled to start
Aug.17 and is expected to receive widespread media coverage and exposure.
More information will be released in the near future concerning the
week-long quest to conquer Alaska.
