Charles Rex Ketchum, formerly of Springfield, IL died October 22, 1997 at the Illinois Veterans Home, Quincy, IL. Rex enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1940 and was assigned to the 5th Eng. Bn, Co.B and served in the Pacific Theater during WW II. Rex was discharged in 1947 having served seven years. He is survived by a brother Leo (see obit. this forum) two sons and a sister.
