If anyone wants to know, Tooks will graduate next Wednesday morning! That means she should be back on the site by......oh say......Friday at the latest.

The chat room hasn't been the same without her over the past three months! I, for one, will be glad to have her back! Oh, and of course she will be our new Sister as well! Ooo-Rah! :marine:

I think from what I'm gathering from other threads is that sometimes they will graduate people early for holidays, I know there was a few people who came back this past week seemingly right before the Marine Corps Birthday and Veterans Day. Now I don't think they would do it if you were to graduate the week AFTER Thanksgiving (or other holidays for that matter) but if you're graduating in that week I think they generally do.

And, I'm assuming life goes on as usual at the MCRDs if you are there over a holiday, maybe turkey in the chow hall or something but nothing like leave or suspended training. Any of the Marines around have an experience on that, as I'm just hazarding a guess?

We graduated on Wednesday so that we can spend time with our families for thanksgiving. :)

but i thought all woman Marines where crazy? that's what Marines currently in are telling me :P one told me "clayton..your MOS your probably gonna be around alot of WM's STAY AWAY FROM THEM! there crazy and think they have something to prove do date a female Marine"

Hey guys,
Just wanna say I love the Marine Corps and have the UTMOST respect for Marines. I am looking to get accepted into OCS this week and get myself down to Quantico in january. Any advice/suggestions/questions/bashing because Im not a Marine is more than welcome :).

By the way, kind of a silly question but Ill ask it anyway--is it ok for non-Marines to say "Semper Fi"?

I look forward to the coming reaming I will soon receive.
