Hello all I've been out for about a year now and went to my local recruiter to reenlist to go back into the Marine Corps. I got out as a Cpl and my MOS was 3531/Motor Transport. Its been about a month and 1/2 and I'm still not in. My recruiter said all the waivers went through. The waivers were for b/c I am now married and have a kid. How long should this process take? He is saying now it will be the end the month. Thank you

Since you have only been out a year, the process should be rather quick, but figure at least 60 days for the waivers and such to go all the way through, and then you'll have to wait for approval.
And, yes, 60 days is FAST...anything under that time is phenomenal!

Thank you, I just called the recruiter today and he said end of this month but deff before christmas. I hope its the end of the month. The sooner the better.

Anyone know a contact number for HQMC so I know what I am waiting on. Everyone says I should have be in by now and Im not getting the answers I want from my recruiter.

You are actually better off at this point just dealing with the recruiter. Believe me, there are Marines who have waited up to a year to re-enlist. Some of us just got tired of waiting and went elsewhere, but you haven't waited long at all. Give it some more time.
Speak to the SNCOIC to see why.
Anyway, Good luck and have fun retreading back to the FMF. Wish it was me going back.

Relax and get in shape, prior service are not priority with recruiters. From what I understand it takes more paperwork and such to reenlist a Marine than it does to sign up a new recruit...but it shouldn't take too long for you since it's only been a year.
