No question about it, The Marine Corps Times has some super reasons, 232 of them, for us to love our Marine Corps as we approach the Corps's 232d anniversary. You'll smile at many; and memories will...

166. If you ambush Capt. Brian Chontosh’s boys, he’s going to take off his Navy Cross and kill you. Then, he’s going to pick up your rifle and kill your buddies. Then, he’s going to pick up your buddy’s rifle and kill your buddy’s buddies. Then, he’s going to pick up a rocket-propelled grenade launcher

Did some background looking into this....great story. Legendary!

Boogieman, I'm returning to Oki in March for three weeks. I will make sure I stop in K-ville and find the recipe for You. Happy Veterans Day.

The missing 100th:
From the Hard Copy of the MarineTimes Paper dates 12 November:

"Reason#100 Tattoos #1 Getting 'Semper Fi' tattooed on your forearm and knowing you'll never regret it."

The Web site version of the list is missing reason 100.

A bucket full of mojo was a large glass of pineapple juice, a large glass of orange juice, same size glass of cherry flavored brandy, a can of beer, same size glass of rum 151, a splash of dark rum, large glass of vodka, large glass of tequilla.

Tasted like a cherry coolaide mai tai ... some mamasans would put a extra splash of 151 on your drink then light it on fire at the table. Not for the faint of heart.

I don't agree with #40 in the least. Just ask Lt. Col. Cessani why.
