Duty Stations for Avionics MOS

Does anyone know where I will likely be stationed after I complete all of my basic, combat, and job training? I am going into the Avionics MOS. Could I be stationed anywhere, or only on, say, an air base? thanks.

Depends what you're fixing. If you fix helos, you can be sent just about anywhere. If you work on fixed wing planes the choices are more limited.

well hopefully you get O level since youll get to deploy more adn wont work in a steel box

Do they assign you a "thing to fix" or do you get to pick?

I'd guess you'll be send to where the Air Wings are. Places like Cherry Point, Miramar, etc. Ask you recruiters.

youll have 2 schools. your "A" school wher eyou learn the basics theories and almost a general of every thing. at pensacola. after you finish you will obtain orders telling you where you youre sea school is and this is where you learn everything about the particual aircraft you'll be working on thats if you get O level . if you get I level im sure you get a sea school i just dont know since i didnt go I level.
