Repair shop offers free oil changes for donations
New Richmond News - 11/02/2007

Miller Brothers Auto Repair is offering to donate a free oil change service to any person that brings in a toy for the Marines “Toys for Tots” program.

The offer starts Nov. 1 and will continue until Dec. 14.

“We are working to help the Marines with this worthwhile program,” said Aaron Miller, co-owner of Somerset’s repair facility. “We feel it’s important to remember that the holiday season is rapidly approaching and how much joy toys bring our children. Too often people forget that we have children right here in our community needing a little help. I believe that supporting this great program can make a big difference in the lives of hundreds or even thousands of children. We have decided to dedicate our time and resources to this worthy cause. Our clients are excited about it and so are we.”

The oil changes will be freely given to anyone with a toy for the Marines program, no strings attached.

“The Somerset community has been very good to us. This is simply a way to give back to the community,” Miller said. “We anticipate collecting hundreds of toys, and hope that this year with the help of the community we can be one of the largest contributors to this worthwhile cause.”

The donations will be accepted at 357 Reed Street, just off Highway 35 North in the Somerset industrial park. The toys must be in the original packaging and unwrapped.

People wanting to take advantage of this special should call 247-4100 or stop by Miller Brothers Auto Repair during normal business hours (Monday through Friday 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.)
