30 Days to Ship after a re-dat??

So, I enlisted on my 18th birthday, 21072007. And I planned on shipping out after the holidays, so i could spend time with my family etc etc. However, just this past weekend i found out that i was discharged from the DEP because of an assault charge a year and a half back. (I still kick myself in the teeth believe me). It was waivered and i re-enlisted, however...my recruiter told me that once you re-enlist after being discharged from the DEP they only give you 30 days until you ship out? I know they want me to hurry up and ship but I cannot shake this feeling, is my recruiter BSing me? Thanks for the help!!!

Thats correct. We had a guy get discharged from DEP last month, becuase he didn't go wanna go to Boot Camp. Just yesterday he poped back up and said he was ready now. So my NCOIC said he would be a "Kiss and Ship"

Means that when he goes back to MEPs, he is leaving to boot that day. All because he can't get back into DEP.

I believe I just read in another thread the LT said something to this effect.............pack your bags son, looks like you're leaving here pretty quick.
