View Full Version : Running Pains
We all get running pains I'm sure. I was wonderin' if someone might recognize mine. I've been in the DEP about 2 months, been to all the pool functions. And just yesterday i went for a short run. (1 1/2 Miles) and not even .5 miles into it i had to stop!? This isn't normal for me, i had not even begun to sweat...the problem was my throat, from my sternum up i had deep deep pain, no doubt to do with my wind pipe. I don't think I have asthma...pray to god i don't. I don't have the money to go to the doc's sooo, anyone know what could be up?
Thanks for the info!!

:bunny: M-84....Let's not waste a Corpsman. He is a Poolee.
I think we could all just play doctor and diagnose him by the words he uses.
I want to practice without a license.
I say he has mumps..... .
Anyone else?
Doesn't sound like asthma, unless you started wheezing and coughing, couldn't breath, catch youre breath. I'd be more concerned about your ticker.

This is purely allegorical....but I know an old woman who swallowed a horse. She swallowed the horse. to catch the goat, to catch the dog, to catch the cat, to catch the mouse, to catch the spider, to catch the fly that wriggled and jiggled and wiggled inside her........Or perhaps Causticum.
:D
Cbx....only playing because it is a multiple posting. Sincerely hope this has cleared up for you.....if so please let us have a self diagnosis before we all lose our imaginary doctors licenses...
I already have a negligent horse-er-rectomy on the books against me!

I can ALWAYS depend on you guys for a laugh! Good thing I didn't have to come to ya'll when the Change kicked in! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Seriously though cbx9 - it could be a lot of things but, probably nothing to worry over. It could be something as simple as you didn't give yourself enough time after eating before you went PTing - go talk to your Doc if it keeps up.
