Does anyone have any info on how the Corps might flip the bill for Law School?

I can't help you with your answer, but the forums rules state you must have a completed profile before posting.

Assuming you want to be a JAG, get in touch with the local OSO and tell him what you're wanting to do. (If you're just trying to get school paid for give the other branches a call too)
We do have a Lt. that is a lawyer running around here from time to time. He can help you more than any of us could I'm sure. (officer.marines.com is the official officer recruiting site. If you click that you want more info I'm sure you'll hear from them quickly. You know how recruiter types are.)
I only want to be a Marine, I can't see myself in another uniform. But thanks for the response.

If you got out in 1991 you should be able use your GI bill for any accredited college. If you erred on your profile and are still active duty.... talk to base education and your command about tuition assistance.

By the time I got to law school, I still had some GI Bill money left over. When you go through PLC-Law, you are eligible for the Marine Corps Tuition Assistance Program (MCTAP). This program authorizes you $5,200 per year. Most Marines start accepting MCTAP after their first year - so that's a little over 10K.
It sounds to me like you are interested in the Funded Law Education Program (FLEP), which I think pays for law school for officers that are accepted.

There is also a Law School Debt Education Subsidy for non-FLEP lawyers that pays 30K after your initial active duty obligation has expired and you agree to an additional 3 year active duty obligation.

Hope that helps.
