A hot July day in the 1940's.
According to Southwestern legend, the G.H. Brewing Company was formed in the great State of Texas in the 1940's.
How long it stayed in operation is still a matter of conjecture. Some say it still is up and running. Others say that it has gone the way of most "local" breweries and merged with the likes of Miller High Life (Didn't know that....did you?) Either way, the G.H. Brewing Company's main claim to fame has always been, and will always be, its' slogan, "It tastes better cold."

The above IS NOT the Gods' honest truth.

Of the many benefits derived from having served in the USMC, one of the more rewarding is the daily morale boosting potential from checking out Leatherneck. I really like this post, it's made my day. Keep 'em coming. (I just read a medical report that says laughter can add 8 more years to your life, I'm in dire need of 8 more, if it be approved). Kindest regards and SF, Gary Hall, Tyler, TX

Some years ago, I knew a lovely young lady from Quebec, who spoke NO English. None.
One day we were having a few adult beverages with some friends. She pointed to my draft beer with that inquisitive look...

I said, "Horse pizz."

She said, "Horse pizz?"

I shook my head, "Yes."

:D
