At approximately 1209CST, my second son Andrew succumbed to complications of pneumonia and kidney failure. For one week while his body was getting sicker and sicker, this little warrior clenched his fists on more than one occasion refusing to give an inch. Finally at 1200 it was decided by me, due to his blood pressure dropping and kidney's getting worse, to remove him from the ventilator.
