The opening screen says that they are Canadians in Afghanistan.

Those aren't Marines, they are Canadian Forces. You can see a subdued Maple Leaf on the soldiers shoulder at 1:06. And since Canada doesn't have any troops in Iraq I'm going to venture a guess and say that is Afghanistan. Still some motivating **** though!
