Marine Comedians Still Supporting the Troops

A large crowd came out in Vacaville Friday night to support local troops -- and took some time to laugh as well.
Former Marines-turned-comedians Dave Bothun, Ellis Rodriguez and "Big" Al Rameriez entertained the audience with funny stories about military life.
The show was in response to local families seeking aid for their sons serving in a Marine unit.
"That unit has suffered losses and could use a hand," said Bothum.
The guys said humor can heal or at least make the pain go a way for a little while.
"I love telling jokes which military families especially can laugh at," said Rodriguez.
People also brought donations of supplies troops can use. Among the most requested items -- batteries for flashlights.
