Immediate family members can use a toll-free number established Oct. 4 to call Marines hospitalized at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, Germany, according to a Corps-wide message.

When family members dial the number (1-866-645-8762), the call will be received by the Marine hospital liaison team office and forwarded to the specific hospital ward where the leatherneck is receiving treatment, according to MarAdmin 583/07.

If the wounded Marine is unavailable to speak, a message will be taken and passed along as soon as possible, according to the message.
