The following is dedicated to those who have fought, still fight & will fight and in rememberance of the ones that have died & will die so that you can have the choice to read this. Take a few moments to honor them!!!
My Brother's Keeper
Hold me brother
in my time of need.
Keep me here
in my darkest hour.
Bound by fate we are
to spend our days in war.
With tarnished minds
never will we let loose these days.
Twilight is upon me
with its icy hands of death.
Here in bloodshed
I lay grasping on to life.
I long to see my love again,
to hold my babies close.
Take to them my brother
a warm embrace for me.
How strange to find a brother
in the dismal days of war.
All these men that fight
so selfless and so brave.
All the men who fall
in heaven we'll embrace.
When I leave this war-torn land
remember your brother lost.
Throw a sky ward glance
for your brother gone away.
I'll keep you far from harm,
for I shall always be
