I live in a community of ex-pats, from about ten different countries.
I do what I do, because for me, it's the only thing to do, I don't know any other way.
Sometimes, I'm asked "Why?"
My response is always the same. "It's for two reasons. First, I am a United States Marine. Second, I am a First Sergeant of Marines. A Marine would understand without asking. Since you had to ask, you never will understand. Just be thankful that I am a Marine."
