I guess our Northern Cousins need some hard chargers to do the dirty work instead of having the US do it. Maybe they are getting worried about the actions of the bear.

Anything that Canada does to increase their military capabilities is a good thing and I hope their new branch/department/whatever of Marines is a huge success for them.
That country is finally realizing they need a set of balls.

The CAF does well when they are properly equipped and unleashed. All political decisions. The latest is that the Canadian Marines will not be fully utilized until they are evaluated at the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver.
Of course they are getting much training and leased equipment from our Beloved Corps! Too bad I'm too old to sign up and teach them. (The CAF pays very well)
