Hello to all you devil dogs out there.

I just graduated boot camp sept. 7th and I am enjoying my well deserved time off before MCT. I just was going to ask what MCT was like if you have currently gone through it or if you remember anything about it.

Is it easier than boot camp? Do you get sleep there? I dont know. Just if you have anything you could tell me let me know!

You will be treated differently- but you will still not be getting treated like a Marine in the fleet will. You'll get sleep, but they don't have to promise 8 hours a day anymore. It is shorter now than when I went through- as a result you don't get much libo- none off base in fact. You'll have a good time, and in about a month you'll be off to your MOS school where things usually relax some more.

1234,

Congratulations!!! You are a Marine now!! MCT will not be like boot camp, but don't think you will have it easy. I remember the first day in MCT when reveille was called, I sprung outta the rack like a recruit, and realized that noone was screaming at me anymore. The instructors at MCT love the first morning with a new class. They usually toss a couple garbage buckets around like the "good ole days" just to see everyone jump.
