wife studiying

hello i recently did my asvab (88-what the heck does that mean?) and will be doing my physical sometime next week. wanna ship out asap.
i am married and my wife would like to study to be a nurse while i serve. what will happen if i go overseas (non combat zone like japan) can she study there or will she be in limbo, following me around? also recruiter told me she could use some of my tuition assistance benefits. is this true? let me know where the wife stands in all this. thanks.

Just a doumb question. Since when does an enlisted wife get to go overseas? I musta missed something. If my wife could follow me around,,,I would have done 30. Not just 4. I thought 24hr readyness Kept the wives at home.

I did know a VERY few who shipped their wife over on their own ticket, And had to keep it secret.
