Register now for Helping Heroes golf tourney

More than 40 patients from Walter Reed Army Medical Center will be among the participants in a Sept. 18 golf tournament at Andrews Air Force Base, Md., golf course to raise money for the Helping Our Heroes Foundation.
The non-profit foundation’s mission is to provide funding, services and volunteers to help those wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan.
The winning teams will have donations made in their names, along with flags that have been flown in Iraq by medical personnel participating in the tournament, said Karen Theobald, president of the foundation.
