I've been on this site for a while and just got a chance to introduce my self.
My name is Eric Cardenas i am 17 i live in Westmoreland County Virginia( George Washington and Robert E Lee's Birthplace)
I have two brothers in the Marine Corps they are both Corporals. My oldest brother is in Iraq and the other leaves next month. Its basically because of them that i want to become a Marine...its something about that vibe they have on life now that amazes me. My ship date is Oct 15th 2007. It sucks that they will be gone for my graduation.
Right now my MOS is 1345 Heavy Equipment Operator (reserve)
The local recruiting station is in Fredricksburg VA not too far from Quantico.
If you have any questions or concerns feel free to let me know.

Don't blow smoke Hurricane. A blank check has been discussed in this site before. It's kinda when you don't mind what happens to you for the cause. Like the one you're about to write to my Country.

I'm not blowing smoke Sgt. I have been here for awhile Sgt. but I never read Blank Check anywhere here.
I initally thought "No expiration date" type thing. But the "check" threw me off. Why would I write a blank check to my country when I would do this stuff for free?

A Veteran whether active duty, retired, national guard, or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America" for an amount of "up to and including my life."
That is Honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it.
Isn't that what you are refering to Sgt.?

Very good Kyle. Few get it. Alot of the ones that did, died on a beach somewhere.

Welcome aboard Steam...bet you're proud of your brothers!!
Yea Ray, whats up with that myspace crap...I HATE MYSPACE, ahahahahaha. You KNOW that ain't true.
BTW, you should know about "blank check"....you're going to be a grunt, which is fine, but you could be the best of the best and be "swinging in the Wing baby"....I know you dig the ladies, you are going to pass up on all the booty. While you're out there in the woods or sand, your Wing bros will be back in the hotel with the ladies....ahahahahhaha, (thats for you Sparkie),heheheh

Swing with the Wing.. Sounds a little limp wristed to me,,, ;]
Hahaha Sparkie, actually its really another way to say us Wingers are able do the "helicopter" with our "billy clubs"...I have heard the grunts are not "equipped" to do such tricks....ahhahaha, I kill me.
Gotta hit the gym and run some errands then out for a few beers in the Kent Narrows area today, a perfect day for the scooter...I'm sure you will have something else to say by the time I get back Sparkie....my bro.
