Bulldog,

What year was that? Your SDI's first name didn't happen to be Herbie did it?

I received your message, I will dig up my old platoon book and find out. Gunny had to win every competition, we had. Gave me fire watch, on the only movie night we had! I could not help looking at a beautiful young dependant while in formation! Semper Fi-Jirine! George:flag:

I just read your profile and if you went to boot camp in 77 it probably wasn't the same Collins I knew. He was only a SSGT. when I knew him in 82 & 83.

I served in the Marine Corp. from 1978-1881, Lance Corporal Collings. After Paris Island went to CA for about a month or so for special training. Was in Platoon 2044 in Washington D.C. as Presidential Honor Guard. I new to this site and a real computer beginner!! My email address as well is russellvtx@yahoo.com

I was in PI during this time period. I remember the DI's well. All good men. Anyone have any photos from that platoon?
