Hey Marines and fellow Poolees,

Sorry about my recent absence, I've been on a hunting trip since last Thursday.

Anybody want to fill me in on the latest around the forums, so I can get up to speed a little faster? I plan on reading all the posts I missed, but I just wanted to check in and see how everyones been since I left. Any exciting news?

Nothing worth bragging for me. Only my second trip though that I could legal hunt. I got a small forked horn blacktail hybrid, but one of the guys I was with got a 23 1/2 inch spread 3 point mule deer. I may pick up a second deertag or a bear tag here in the next week.

I did have the furthest shot in our group though. 55 yards. (We were archery hunting so 55 yard shots are not that easy, but I can still hit a 9 inch pie plate out to 70 consistantly.)
