I served with ComSptCo in Kanehoe back in the early 70s. I am wondering if anyone knows the whereabouts of Captain R L Godsil or Gunny Cooke.

My father is Cpt RL Godsil who was stationed in Kanehoe. He retired as a Major and worked for RCA and retired again. Maj Godsil passed away in Dec 2001 from cancer. He is buried in Arlington National Cemetery. Shirley Godsil passed away Sept 2016 and she will be inturned with Maj Godsil on Apr 20th. It was honor to have a father like him and I know the men under his command felt the same way.
Thank you for inquiring about him. - Richard W Godsil
