A large dust storm blows across Iraq and the northern end of the Arabian Peninsula on Wednesday. In this westward-looking satellite perspective, the dust cloud is the bright yellowish feature at the top of the image. The crescent-shaped Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman bisect the lower portion of the image.
