Combat Pt

Not sure if you all remember the hype about new PT program being implemented, but us at 2nd LAR are now being a guinea pig for the new program being called combat conditioning. a bunch of the Marines here went through a instructor course for two weeks and now for the next 12 they're going to run us through a workout schedule. Its alot of core work, most all days are in boots and utes, we do sandbag and medicine ball work, going to do runs and apparently some hikes built in as well. ive heard rumor about a different pft, but nothing official from the instructors, one of whos in my section so if he knew id know. but like i said that would be in the works. thats about it, not sure when it will go mainstream, but all the course work and schedules my instructor has are from the mace in quantico, some of it has even been published before, like the conditioning drills by belt level chart. alot of it is new though
