USS Nimitz On Its Way Back To San Diego

There is good news for military families, as 15,000 sailors and Marines are now on their way home from the Middle East.
The USS Nimitz is returning to San Diego. The navy aircraft carrier was one of several warships that left from Coronado last April to patrol the waters of the Persian Gulf.
The USS Stennis is also on its way back to its home port in Bremerton, Washington.
The two carriers will be replaced by the smaller fleet of the USS Enterprise, which arrived in the area Wednesday.
