Local Marines Get Word Of New Iraq Tour

Camp Pendleton Marines and their families are getting word today that they will deploy back to Iraq as part of a regular troop rotation.
Officials say 17,000 Marines will leave for a one-year tour by the end of the year.
The scheduling means spending Thanksgiving and Christmas in the war zone.
The Marines will join 3,000 soldiers from Texas to replace those who are going home.
