13 of us were sworn in at Houston at
1300 on August
13, 1963. Flew to San Diego with a stopover at Dallas Love Field gate
13. In San Diego we were put in plt 260 (20 x 13). I finished ITR on Dec.
13. After boot leave, back to MCRD SD Electronics School, started on Jan.
13. Graduated from radar school on Oct.
13.
