John says his surgeon says he's dog-****ed and won't live til June. The oncologist says that ain't neccessarily true. Says chemo oughta give him a few more years. It's serious but it ain't over. Say the reason he ended up in the hospital was a blood infection. He oughta be goin' home in a couple days.

John seemed to be in good spirits and has been gettin' a lot of phone calls. Nurses asked him "You must have a big family." John told her, "Yeah, I do. The United States Marine Corps!"

John was hard to get a hold to earlier.....

He said he had to take the phone off the hook :p to get some rest.

Lets don't forget him over time. I don't know him personally, but he has always seemed like "good folk". People (me too) have a tendancy to forget things, so lets keep him on his game.

Sempers John. Faith can move mountians, and the body can heal.

Talked to John a bit ago. Did'nt have much wind in his sail. A long day maybe.

Will see him tomorrow afternoon.

If anyone would like to send a message or a photo or whatever to him, I will print and add it to the Leatherneck Album that I'm putting together.

Taking off work a few days, so can add new messages daily.

Send me a private message and I will return my e-mail address.

Ideas: JAMarine sent a "Then and Now" photos. That would let John put a face on us.
Ivalis sent a photo of his show dog that flatfoot was always jokingly wanting.

Had a nice visit with John today. He seemed to be doing well, considering. I thought he looked good.

He's planing to have a little time at home begining tuesday the 25th, so watch for him in the chat room and tell that Marine hello.

He enjoyed having all of your messages, prayers and photos to see and read.

He said to tell everyone thanks and to tell them hi.

He's lookin' like he needs some sun, but otherwise he's lookin' alright compared to the last pic I had of him.

Thanks, Marine.
