i would ask my brother but never see him when hes on leave everyone comes over to my house like its a family reunion or something

OK, just so you know, most of us prefer you capitalize and use punctuation as appropriate. This part of the site isn't a chat room.

You can enlist in the Marine Corps at 17 if your parents also sign giving you permission. However, the Corps wants people with a HS diploma, so most 17-year old enlistees end up being 18 before they see boot camp (that is how it worked with me, way back when).

Sometimes the Corps will accept a GED, but usually they also require at least some college on top of that.

Ok I see understand that much. Does Recruiters work with 9th graders?

Some Recruiters will talk to 9th grade students, but most of the time they will wait till your more along the lines of the 11th, for the simple reason that if your 17 and your parents sign the papers, the summer before your senior year you can go to bootcamp, then after you graduate you can go on to mct or soi from there.
